See which newspaper ad, billboard or flyer brought the lead
Adscano shows which newspaper ad or billboard brought the lead, with client-ready reports. It is offline ad attribution software: give every placement its own QR code, and each scan and lead form is recorded against that placement, so you can compare your ads by the leads they bring.
Free plan, no card. Paid plans from ₹2,999 (incl. GST) or $36 per 30 days.
How it works
1
Create one campaign
Set the offer and the lead form. Adscano builds the mobile page people land on.
2
Add a placement per ad
One for each newspaper edition, billboard site or flyer batch. Each gets its own QR code and link, and all of them open the same page.
3
Read the results
Scans, leads and conversion rate for each placement, on the campaign page. Export the leads or send a report.
What you get
Results per placement
Each placement shows its own scans, leads and scan-to-lead rate, so a strong ad can't hide a weak one.
The ad named on the lead
Open a lead and you see the placement it came from, along with the details the person gave you.
Lead page included
A phone-first page with your offer, a lead form, and WhatsApp or call buttons. No website work needed.
Campaign analytics
Scans over time, a day-and-hour heatmap, phone type and approximate city for the campaign.
Client-ready reports
A shareable report with scans, leads and conversion per campaign and per placement, plus cost per lead where you enter the ad cost, emailed monthly. PDF on Growth and Agency, white label on Agency.
Lead hand-off
CSV export on every plan. On Growth and Agency, a webhook sends each lead to your CRM as it arrives.
What offline attribution can and can't tell you
A QR code measures people who respond by scanning. It can't count someone who saw the billboard and later searched for your name, or who rang from memory. Treat scan and lead counts as the minimum an ad delivered, and use them to compare placements with each other.
Attribution gets more useful as you split it. One code across a campaign tells you the campaign got a response. A code per placement tells you which paper, site or batch to book again. Keep the creative and offer the same across placements, or you will end up measuring the offer.
To compare value, divide each placement's cost by its leads. A small paper with fewer scans can still win on cost per lead, and that is the number to bring to the next booking. The ROI calculator below does the sum.
Working out which printed or outdoor ad produced a response. Adscano does it by giving each placement its own QR code and recording every scan and lead against that code.
Can I see which ad a lead came from?
Yes. A lead from a placement's code shows that placement's name. The campaign page also totals scans and leads for each placement.
How is this different from a UTM link on a QR code?
A UTM tag labels a visit for your web analytics, and you still need a landing page and a form. Adscano includes the page and the form, and keeps scans and leads per placement in one place.
What do client reports show?
Scans, leads and conversion for each campaign, and scans and leads for each placement since its campaign began, with cost per lead where you entered the ad cost. They come as a shareable link and, on Growth and Agency, a PDF.
Do people need an app to scan?
No. The QR code opens in the phone's normal camera and lands on a web page.
